- Maximum Age for Male Candidates: 37 Years

Educational Qualification
Paper I (Secondary Level)
- Graduation in a related subject with 50% marks and B.Ed., or
- Post Graduation in the related subject with B.Ed., or
- Graduation / Post Graduation with minimum 45% marks (as per NCTE norms) and B.Ed., or
- Completed 4-year Integrated Course such as BA B.Ed / B.Sc B.Ed.

Paper II (Senior Secondary Level)
- Post Graduation in a related subject with 50% marks and B.Ed. / BA B.Ed. / B.Sc B.Ed., or
- Post Graduation with 45% marks (as per NCTE norms) and B.Ed., or
- Post Graduation with 55% marks and a 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. course.

About Bihar STET Exam
The Bihar State Teacher Eligibility Test (Bihar STET) is conducted every year by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) to determine the eligibility of candidates aspiring to teach at secondary (Class 9–10) and senior secondary (Class 11–12) levels in government and private schools across Bihar.
This exam consists of two papers — Paper I (Secondary) and Paper II (Senior Secondary). Candidates qualifying for the exam become eligible to apply for teaching vacancies under the Bihar government.
