Brief Information: UPDELED (also known as UP D.El.Ed / BTC) is a state-level admission process for the 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education course in Uttar Pradesh. This course was earlier known as Basic Training Certificate (BTC) and is designed to prepare candidates for teaching at the elementary school level.
The admission and counselling process is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Examination Regulatory Authority (Pariksha Niyamak Pradhikari), Prayagraj. Selection is purely based on merit followed by a multi-phase online counselling and seat allotment process. The official notification for the 2025–26 academic session has been released, and the counselling process will continue into early 2026.

How to Apply for UPDELED Online Counselling 2026
- Make sure you have successfully applied for UP D.El.Ed Admission.
- Check your Merit List / State Rank on the official portal.
- Click on Candidate Registration.
- Enter your application number, name, mobile number, and email ID.
- Create a password and complete registration.
- Go to Pay/Update Registration Fee section.
- Pay the counselling fee online and download the e-receipt.
- Upload and verify required documents:
- 10th Marksheet & Certificate
- 12th Marksheet & Certificate
- Graduation Marksheet & Certificate
- Residence Certificate (UP candidates)
- Caste / EWS Certificate (if applicable)
- Proceed to Choice Filling and select preferred colleges.
- Lock your choices before the deadline.
- After allotment, download the Seat Allotment Letter.
- Report to the allotted institute with original documents.
- Complete document verification and admission fee payment.
- Keep a printout of the admission slip for future reference.
